Tahoe (Formerly Vevo) wins the top prize in Databricks Generative AI Challenge.

Tahoe Therapeutics (formerly Vevo) has won the Grand Prize For Databricks Generative AI Startup Challenge.
Our grand ambition at Tahoe is to build disease-relevant models of human cell, and to use them to discover better therapeutics. For that, we need Data that doesn't exist today and Models that can efficiently learn from this data.
We have built the technology to generate this data at an unparalleled scale (See our announcement of Tahoe-100M, a single-cell atlas larger than all public datasets combined). And we have built the models that can be trained on this data at a fraction of the cost that was possible before. This Grand Prize is the recognition of that.
Thanks Databricks, for building the stack that helped us accomplish this, Shreshth Gandhi, for leading the effort, and the judges for their nod (Naveen Rao, Martin Casado, Cack Wilhelm, Patrick Wendell).
